Guelph CYO Knights Basketball and IBSA Basketball are excited to announce their partnership effective immediately. IBSA Basketball is the premier basketball training and skill development organization in the province and will help take our players to their highest levels of achievement, whether those players are in House League or Competitive Rep Leagues.

Moving forward, our organization will provide enhanced opportunities for player development through Skill and Fundamentals training, 3on3 basketball leagues and in-depth Shooting clinics. Players will also have the opportunity to participate in IBSA run and Guelph CYO Knights sponsored March Break and Summer Skill Development Camps.

Our House League will experience an innovation as we move to a model of having IBSA coaches on the floor with our current group of volunteers and House League players.
Included in this process are player evaluations to provide parents feedback on growth opportunities, enhanced focus on character development and sportsmanship.

We will also promote increased opportunities for all players to handle the ball as we implement a proper development model for youth athletes.

Finally, there will be a focus on developing high quality Rep/Competitive teams.

This includes a focus on IBSA training for coaching staff to develop coaches of the highest quality and ensure a consistency in philosophy across the organization. Guelph CYO Knights will endeavour to provide an environment for female players with enhanced opportunities with increased equitable access to high quality facilities and training at the highest level.

As a result, Canada Elite Basketball has also formed a partnership with Guelph Knights CYO basketball to provide opportunities and pathways for female and male players to reach high level basketball in the post secondary with the Guidance of the IBSA and Canada Elite staff.
