A star running back from the Assumption College Lions is heading east to continue his football career. Running back and team captain Adrian Popielec-Henry has committed to St. Francis Xavier in AUS football.

Popielec-Henry spent the last 5 seasons playing for the Lions and was a team captain for all 3 years at the senior level. This past season, he helped the Lions take home the BCSSAA and CWOSSA titles. He was a dominant running back and now will continue his career at the University level.

Popielec-Henry has also enjoyed success playing for the Cambridge Lions in the OPFL. He's spent the last 2 summers playing for the Lions.
