Hitchen is the latest local player heading to university football signing with the Western Mustangs for the 2025 OUA season. He played WCSSAA football with the Bluevale Knights and in the OSFL with the Cambridge Lions. Here is Cooper's signing ceremony on Tuesday May 27th at Bluevale Collegiate in Waterloo.
