The Listowel Cyclones have been very active the last 24 hours announcing a number of player signings for the upcoming Junior B hockey season. The Cyclones revelaed earlier this week Chayse Herrfort and Holdyn Lansink would both be returning this fall. Both players were huge difference makers helping the Cyclones bring home the Cherrey and Sutherland Cup last season.

In addition, Listowel announced Wednesday on Twitter several additions to the roster. Riley McCabe is joining the Cyclones between the pipes. McCabe is a 17 year old goaltender from Arthur and he spent last season playing Major Midget hockey with the Waterloo Wolves. Before that, McCabe spent one season with the Waterloo Wolves Minor Midget team.

On the blueline, former Kitchener Junior Rangers Minor Midget David Mabey is heading to Cycs Nation this fall. Mabey played in 2 regular season games for Listowel last year and is a Guelph Storm prospect. Defenseman Brendan Koops also signed with the Cyclones this week. Koops is a Guelph native who played for the Junior Gryphons during his Minor Midget year. Last season, he patrolled the blueline for the Waterloo Wolves Major Midget squad.

Up front, the Cyclones signed 3 players this week including Brayden Krieger who played 5 games for Listowel last season. Krieger is from Elora and he is a prospect of the London Knights in the OHL. Jonah White is another addition up front. White played for the Waterloo Wolves Major Midgets last season, recording 19 points in 32 games. Jacob Bloomfield was White's teammate in Waterloo and he also signed with Listowel this week. Bloomfield picked up 42 points in a Wolves jersey last season.
